MJC Provides ERV Upgrades for a Local Fire House

erv-1At MJC, it is our goal to create the perfect commercial HVAC system that meets the needs of those who reach out to us. Our years of experience, knowledge and a willingness to try something unique mean that we can take a basic HVAC system and reconfigure it to function in a way that works better than ever. Consequently, we have been a part of the upgrade process for numerous businesses.

Recently, an area firehouse reached out to us about making changes to their heating and air unit. Their current system was a 5 Ton Trane Split System, and while this is a great HVAC system, it was still not what they needed to meet their specifications. Because of our knowledge of heating and air units, the MJC team was able to redesign the Trane system and make their standard factory split system a fully custom design, complete with energy recovery capabilities, which can compete with an Aaon 100% OA Unit!

Offerings Provided by MJC:

1.       Energy Recovery Unit Built onto the AHU. Specific duct connections required for Top RA and Bottom OA

2.       ERV & AHU built onto a common base frame

3.       MJC provided VFD on the Factory Supply Fan

4.       Hot Gas Reheat to meet LAT

5.       MJC Added 50MBH Heater / Heat section on top of the AHU for top supply

6.       APR Rawal Valve installed on the Trane CU for capacity control

7.       Entire ERV & AHU wired for single pt power.

Setting MJC apart from other commercial HVAC manufacturers is that we offer elements and system redesigns specific to you. This customization can be done through a variety of approaches. One such offering is the MJC ePlate heat exchanger which has features such as no moving parts, a compact and lightweight design, outstanding corrosion resistant and being compatible with high temperature applications, and plate and frame heat exchangers.  These features mean that our systems are the best energy recovery solution available.

However, the ePlate is not our only energy recovery approach to customizing a commercial HVAC system. Other choices include the following:

·         Energy Recovery Wheels that uses air-to-air recovery technology

·         MJC Enthalpy Plate energy exchanger that combines the latest in energy recovery technology with a polymer desiccant

·          Sensible Plate Energy Recovery system that offers features such as no moving parts, little to no maintenance costs, separate air streams and a lightweight, compact design.

With so many options for designing a heating and air system that suits the needs of a business, it is no wonder that so many companies have asked us for help!

If you are in need of a redesign of your commercial HVAC unit, then the MJC team is perfect for the job. We understand the importance of having a system that meets your locations needs and specifications and can design a custom system that works for you. Don’t be unsatisfied with an HVAC design that doesn’t meet your needs. Give the MJC team a call today.

MJC Meets Manufacturing Marvels!

mjc-aug-1Recently, the MJC team was featured on Manufacturing Marvels, which is part of the Fox Business Network.  The Fox team visited the MJC facility and created a video that showed the behind the scenes activities at MJC.

As you watch the video, you will learn more about how we are making strides in the HVAC field and how what we do is unique to us.  We are proud of our technicians, welders, and in-house worker’s ability to produce systems that can be used for virtually any type of facility. From rooftop systems to outdoor pads or indoor units, it is our goal to design and install HVAC systems that make keeping your work facility comfortable all year around.

Some of the HVAC features our customers appreciate include –

·         Air Turnover Units – These can be used to heat and cool spaces of up to 100,000 square feet without the need for installing traditional ductwork. Better yet, this system cost less to install and has a higher efficiency level than traditional HVAC units.

·         CONVERGENCE – The CONVERGENCE VRFMZ Multi-zone unit is the first of its kind. It is designed to take advantage of VRF heat recovery systems and provide simultaneous heating and cooling to multiple zones.

·         Energy Recovery Units – Our ERU takes outside air and heats or cools it as needed. It is up to 80% more energy efficient than other energy recovery units used today and is especially popular in hotels, sports halls, office buildings, swimming pools, and many other commercial locations.mjc-aug-2

·         HVAC Coatings – Perhaps the unsung hero of the commercial HVAC unit, the coating for a heating and air unit and can be architectural, anti-microbial and anti-corrosive –depending on your particular needs. The coatings can also be modified to work with various HVAC systems. It is used extend the life of your HVAC equipment by protecting it from the elements.

With an assortment of HVAC systems that can be custom designed to suit your work area, and a team that will do all we can to ensure that your facility’s HVAC units are all they can be, you can count on us for all your heating and cooling needs. Contact the MJC team to learn how we can make your energy efficiency levels better than ever before.

Introducing the Convergence VRFmz System – The Latest in the MJC Family

CONVERGENCEBy definition convergence is the merging of thoughts and ideas to create a stronger idea, product, or service. This is no less true in the world of HVAC. It is with in mind, that the MJC team worked towards creating a more efficient HVAC system.

We are please to announce success. Recently, MJC released the game-changing CONVERGENCE VRFmz system, the first ever VRF Package Multizone. The Convergence merges the design, form, and function with the variable refrigerant flow gamf.net technology so that a more efficient unit can be installed – regardless of whether your business uses a roof or pad mounted package unit. The CONVERGENCE system offers advantages, some of which include the following:

What Makes the CONVERGENCE VRFmz System So Special?

CONVERGENCE VRFmz is not just another HVAC unit. It has been specially designed to be the best in rooftop systems so that you can always be comfortable. In order to do this, we have made an assortment of modifications to the standard HVAC system. Some of these changes and updates include –

  • Capacities to 64 tons
  • VRF Heat recovery system
  • Mode control or Branch selector kit for simultaneous heating and cooing
  • SWSI Plenum supply blower
  • Premium efficient motors
  • Variable speed blowers
  • Independent zone evaporator coils
  • Full Economizer with low leakage
  • Modulating dampers
